Course Aims This course aims at providing students with an in-depth understanding of specific topics in cognitive psychology by reviewing recent articles in the field. Some recent developments and daily life issues in cognitive psychology will be critically discussed in this course. Topics include: face recognition, attention, memory, decision making and language. This course also aims at demonstrating how a cognitive psychology research should be conducted. Research proposal writing and journal critique writing will be taught in the course.
Course Intended Learning Outcomes (CILOS)

After completing the course, students should be able to:

1. Review and present research studies in cognitive psychology critically;

2. Apply their knowledge in cognitive psychology with arguments in daily life issue;

3. Understand studies/ experiments in cognitive psychology field;

4. Write research proposal or journal critique in Psychology, particularly related to Cognitive
    phenomena in APA format;
