Highlights
 

  1. The Counselling and Psychology Department has a partnership with School of Medicine, Wuhan University (Sections of Nursing and Rehabilitation); wherein Play Therapy Practice & Research Site of Hong Kong Shue Yan University is set.

  2. We collaborated with the team of colleagues from Chicago University, including Dr. Liu Nina Ni, Dr. Afzal Khalid Imran, and Dr. Radwan Karam (they are all psychiatrist/psychiatry specialist) and Prof. Fang Jing-yi, School of Medicine, Wuhan University. In 2022, the Department worked with them to establish the Mental Health Hub for Children and Youth. In this conference, we worked together on training and research collaboration.

  3. Our team had a meeting with the Head of Nursing Prof. Zhong and visited their laboratory for nurse training wherein IT and assimilation model are adopted.

  4. Visited the Section of Rehabilitation and the laboratory set as the practicum site for our students from Master in Play Therapy.

  5. Visited Wuhan Rainbow Stellar Light Education Technology Co. Ltd., as a center for SEN support and mental health promotion and had meeting with Associate Director, Dr Liu Xiu-Ping and her team for training and research collaboration.
