Course Aims
The course aims at promoting students’ understanding of the history of ideas in psychology. Through acquiring knowledge related to philosophical antecedents and empirical roots of those ideas or thoughts, students will develop a foundation for integrating various systems of psychology into their future work and practice.
Course Intended Learning Outcomes (CILOS)

Upon successful completion of this course, students should be able to: 

1. Identify the key figures, important theories, contexts and impact of major systems in
     psychology. 
 
2. Contrast important philosophical traditions relevant to the development of various
    systems in psychology. 
 
3. Integrate systems of psychology from a macroscopic and meta-scientific
    perspective. 
 
4. Apply basic skills in historiography and etymological investigation.
