Course Aims |
This course aims to broaden students' knowledge on developmental psychology as well as training the ability to critique on existing research. A student-oriented seminar approach will be adopted. Each seminar follows a "consolidate-broaden-apply" routine to ensure thorough understanding of the selected developmental psychology topics. Through presentations and class participation, students are encouraged to apply their knowledge onto local, practical issues.

Course Intended Learning Outcomes (CILOS) |
Upon completion of this course students should be able to: 1. Recall basic developmental psychological knowledge and theories; 2. Apply developmental psychological knowledge in real life issues; 3. Evaluate research studies in developmental psychology; 4. Review controversial contemporary issues in developmental psychology critically.
