Contact Hours Per Week Students work out a schedule of appointments with their supervisors to discuss the progress of their research projects. They are expected to meet with their supervisors at least ten times during the two semesters.

Course Aims
The course aims to provide students with research training and practical research skills. Students are required to identify research problems and write a research proposal that can contribute to psychological knowledge.
Course Intended Learning Outcomes (CILOS)

Upon successful completion of this course, students are able to: 

1. Identify research problems or areas of research interest;

2. Generate research hypotheses or questions;

3. Devise appropriate research plan and method;

4. Synthesize relevant literature;

5. Write a research proposal;

6. Collect data for the research hypotheses;

7. Analyze data using statistical software;

8. Discuss research findings and study limitations;
 
9. Write a research report.
