Course Aims
This course aims at promoting self-awareness and developing essential ingredients of psychological health as creativity, emotional and interpersonal competencies and the capacity to participate in community life. It helps to sensitize students to an understanding of themselves as individuals and as members of a social group, society or culture. At the individual level, a well-adjusted human being is one who is aware of her/his strengths and limitations as well as potentialities for growth.
Course Intended Learning Outcomes (CILOS)

At the conclusion of this course, students will be able to:

1. show better understanding of themselves as individuals and as members of a social group, society or culture;
 
2. demonstrate a higher level of self-awareness;
 
3. communicate more effectively, and exhibit appropriate use of group communication skills; and
 
4. display awareness of the essential aspects of psychological health including creativity, self-regulation, emotional and interpersonal competencies, and the capacity to participate in community life.
