Course Aims
Completion of Dissertation I is the pre-requisite of enrolment of Dissertation. Students in CP530 are required to conceptualize their thesis topics, conduct literature survey, formulate research hypotheses, and design the research methods. All these works would be assessed through presentation and proposal writing exercises.  

Course Intended Learning Outcomes (CILOS)

Upon completing this course, students will be able to: 

1. Apply concepts and knowledge in Counselling Psychology in a research setting.

2. Review relevant literatures in Counselling Psychology.

3. Choose appropriate methodologies for research studies.

4. Write a research proposal of with consideration of relevant ethical concerns.

5. Design research studies aligning to necessary ethical considerations.
