Course Aims
This course aims at providing students with an overview of developmental psychology and helping them to understand how individuals change using a lifespan approach. Different theoretical perspectives and research methods used in the study of human development will be introduced. In addition, students are encouraged to conduct field research related to developmental psychology.

Course Intended Learning Outcomes (CILOS)

Specifically, this course helps students to:

1. Understand the physical, cognitive and social development at different stages of the lifespan
 
2. Apply major developmental psychology theories to explain human development
 
3. Conduct experiment or interviews on topics related to developmental psychology
