Course Aims
This course introduces both classic and contemporary personality theories and research relating to individual differences; their relevance to daily life; and how to acquire personality knowledge through scientific investigation. The focus of the course is on everyday life applications, recent development and empirical evidence in support and against the theories, the design and interpretation of personality research.

Course Intended Learning Outcomes (CILOS)

At the completion of the course, it is anticipated that students will be able to:

1. Identify the key features of personality psychology

2. Demonstrate a critical awareness of different perspectives in personality psychology

3. Evaluate research methods used in personality psychology

4. Apply and relate personality psychology to understand daily issues
